The Key of G
by T.E. Bisceglia
A Mother's Journey through Loss and Spiritual Renewal

The Key of G is a poignant memoir that chronicles a mother’s journey through profound loss and spiritual renewal. When her 17-year-old son’s life is tragically cut short after struggles with divorce and addiction, she is plunged into a world of heartbreak and unanswered questions. Determined to make sense of her grief, she embarks on a transformative path of healing.
Through music, creative visualization, and mystical signs, she discovers a renewed sense of purpose and connection. Interwoven with reflections on immortality, reincarnation, sacred wisdom, and the principles of quantum physics, her story becomes a personal manifesto—a testament to the power of love and faith to transcend suffering. She invites readers to tune in to a higher vibration, aligning their lives with harmony and meaning.
As she shares her emotional and spiritual awakening, her journey becomes an invitation to us all: to embrace the beauty of life, honor the bonds of love that never fade, and uncover the divine within. The Key of G offers hope, healing, and inspiration, bearing spiritual fruit for those seeking light in even the darkest moments.
After Graham died, I wrote a manuscript, a screen adaptation, a musical, poetry, lyrics, and several songs. It was a story about my lived experience with grief, being broken open, understanding my parts, and coming to know myself and my creator, resonating with a higher frequency. I followed breadcrumbs, and it brought me closer to God. G stands for Graham, but it also stands for God, and the theme of my work was to find a key to the kingdom, a pathway into wholeness.
The words lay to rest while I began to practice what I had learned. I had things to accomplish, a world that needed my contributions, a son to guide, and a calling to serve. I started by serving a humanitarian organization that brought water to people and mentorship to young students in their training to become global citizens. Then, I reached out to the national nonprofit Herren Project.
With my lived experience of supporting a young adult through various phases of addiction and recovery, I joined others in a movement to serve humanity, open opportunities to those less fortunate, and bring healing and hope for recovery. I held various positions at Herren Project, an organization that stood symbolically for serving my Higher Power as an instrument of God’s love, using my God-given skills and abilities. My journey and reflection in writing The Key of G got me there.
For a long time, I struggled with whether to publish The Key of G. I had often felt a strange connection to the mission of writing it but I was not sure if that was for my personal advancement and healing or whether I should share something so personal and profound with the world. Perhaps nobody wanted to explore the depths of grief and healing. Maybe the world was not ready for it.
I have come to appreciate that the messages I received, my epiphanies and struggles, and the process I went through could help so many others who are struggling with grief. I sadly lost the last version of my manuscript, and how I did so becomes part of the story. My son had surrendered my laptop computer to his drug dealer. Sadly, the latest version of my manuscript vanished into thin air.
